Plot

 

After Herncastle’s dangerous and adventurous robbery of the moonstone, he had no longer it because he had been murdered. The next destination of the jewel was the daughter of his sister as a gift for her eighteen birthdays.  She took it as a reconciliation gift due to their familiar issues between their families before Herncastle’s death. Before the birthday were going to take place, Rachel met Franklin and both fell madly in love with each other.  All the family was reunited to celebrate the special ocassion, although after the birthday, the moonstone disappeared. Then, the badness came to the family: Rosanna, one servant who was in love with Franklin killed herself, Lady Verinder got ill and died consequently, Rachel is destined to a man which she did not love…

Franklin come back from his journeys in the sea although his love for Rachel was unconditional and his next determined step was to tell her. When he did, she refused to it unexpectedly and with no reasons. Step by step he started discovering the explanation of the moonstone’s disappearance and Rachel’s attitude. However, the truth was hard, he was the responsible of taking the moonstone although he knew he wouldn’t have done it. Then, Franklin was decided to prove his innocence, gaining Rachel’s love so he went to London and discovered that the real responsible was Godfrey due to some economic issues. However, Franklin wasn’t the only person who knew that, the Indian priests did too and they killed Godfrey in order to recuperate the religious stone.
